Before Select office services carries out any window cleaning for your building we perform a full site survey, to look at the type of windows, the heights involved and to carry out a risk assessment in order to decide the best cleaning method to be used.
The systems we use are:
Ground Level (Low Risk) - Squeegee Steps & Ladders
1st Floor to 3rd Floor Reach & Wash System. (Window Cleaning Pole)
Above 3rd Floor - Hydraulic Platforms
Current Health and Safety requirements find the advantages of using the water fed pole system beneficial. New european legislation regarding working at height (WAHD working at height directive) has limited the use of ladders.The law states that ladders can only be used when all alternatives have been considered.
